School Farm
The River Dun is the shortest of the Test tributaries, but one of the most substantial. It rises above Lockerley & flows down through Dunbridge. Soon after Dunbridge it becomes part of the Mottisfont Abbey Estate before joining the main river at Mottisfont.
The School Farm fishing is just upstream of Dunbridge. Without a doubt it is one of the very best maintained & stocked beats with facilities that are second to none.
Over the past twenty years the current owner has done a huge amount of work to improve the fishing. There are a series of glides, riffles, weirs & pools all of which hold fish, which are stocked in substantial numbers, both brown & rainbow.
The oak Clock Cabin has veranda for dining, kitchenette & WC, all immediately adjacent to the parking. Further down the beat is the secluded River Cabin that straddles the river by the hatch pool. This is the prefect place to relax away from the cares of the world or have an intimate lunch.
