River Days - a choice of five different venues on the River Test and its tributaries. Parties from 4 -12. April-October. Suitable for experienced fly fishers or mixed groups.

Lake Days – take a day at one of Hampshire’s leading trout lakes. Parties from 10-25. Open all year. Suitable for all abilities and novices.

Nether Wallop Mill – mix business with pleasure at Nether Wallop Mill. Parties of 6. April-October. Suitable for all abilities and novices.

Season: April - October. The most popular time is the Mayfly that runs from mid May to early June, but the fishing is also excellent in June, July and September in particular.

Numbers: We will advise you on which beat is best for your party, but generally they are all available for parties of six to twelve, though some are suitable for larger groups.

Catering: This is a quality menu and we use the same caterers who look after The Grange Opera. The day includes breakfast, waitress service lunch with fine wines, afternoon tea and open bar included in the price. You will be offered an excellent menu ahead of the day from which to choose.

Facilities: We pride ourselves in hosting your day at a beautiful riverside setting. The exact set up varies from location to location but all include a fishing cabin beside the water, outside seating area, WC and car parking within a few yards of the river.

Fishing Guides: We know from experience that the key to the day is how your gests are looked after and our Guides are second to none. To ensure personal attention, without being too intrusive we know that on the river a ratio of one Guide to two guests is perfect so that is what we provide. We assume that every day will include some people who have never fished so all our Guides must be fully qualified instructors, very capable of looking after novices and upwards.

Fishing tackle: This is all new equipment including top-of-the-line rods, reels, lines, nets and flies which are provided free of charge. Fishing vests, wellington boots, hats and fishing glasses are standard.

Travel & places to stay: We will offer advice on a host of excellent country inns and hotels within easy reach of the fishing, plus train links, taxis and directions.

The historic home of dry fly fishing and renowned the world over. Meet for breakfast at Hampshire’s leading gastro inn, The Peat Spade.

A beautiful beat, on a lovely river right in the heart of Gloucestershire. The extensive fishing is ideal for novices and experienced anglers alike, with lunch taken in The Mill House.

Lake Days

Meon Springs

Three well stocked trout lakes at the head of the Meon Valley, in the most wonderful countryside in Hampshire, with easy access to London and the Home counties. This is the ideal venue for a group of all abilities, where the instructors will have everyone taking home fish at the end of the day. The facilities are excellent, with a fully equipped Lodge overlooking the lakes.
