John Bailey, Charles Jardine & Bob James DaysCharles Jardine | John Bailey | Bob James Charles Jardine
At the awards ceremony, held in Montana, USA, in July 2005 Federation chairman Gary Grant said the award was in “recognition of an individual who has gone way beyond the usual efforts to grow the sport on a international basis: it is one of the highest awards we can give – and richly deserved”. Writing, painting, illustration, public speaking, TV & radio and fly tying are just a few of Charles’s skills. That's before he's even picked up a fly rod! But joking aside, a day with Charles is a true fly fishing education. His days fizz with enthusiasm and whether you are a novice, expert or somewhere in between, you are guaranteed a great fishing day. Day in the Life of a Fisherman

To describe Charles Jardine as a living legend is no exaggeration, but it does make him seem aloof & unapproachable, but he is nothing of the sort. A day spent with him will open your eyes to a whole host of new fishing opportunities, techniques & perspectives delivered in a relaxing & informative way.
As a consultant to some of the leading fly fishing brands, Charles usually has some ‘state-of-the-art’ piece of tackle for you to try out & as President of APGAI he is an accomplished instructor.
So, look forward to a full day of fun & informative fishing at a private fishery reserved for your sole & exclusive use with Charles.

John Bailey is fast becoming one of the UK’s highest profile anglers – he regularly produces spectacular fishing books & his TV shows are amongst some the most watched on the Sky network.
A Norfolk boy by upbringing, John has his roots firmly in the coarse traditions of the Fens, but he was born with itchy feet & that has led him around the globe in search of the ultimate fishing destinations. His BBC programme in the 1990’s on the Indian manseer was way ahead of it’s time & was the first TV show to open Western eyes to the fishing adventures in the foothills of the Himalayas.
John is the master catcher & his name alone gets you access to some of the most exclusive & private waters in England and that alone is worth a king’s ransom. But hang on to your hat & be prepared for a full-on day with John at his very best. He will take you to the water of your choice to seek out the biggest & best fish that you want to catch most.
Spend a day with acclaimed writer & TV star John Bailey fishing. John has made his name as a fisherman who is equally at home with a coarse & fly rod in his hand or even stalking the clear estuary waters along the Norfolk coastline.
Ahead of your day, pick the fish you want to target with John. Armed with that knowledge John will select a private water that he knows will work & he will be ready & raring to go to give you the fishing day of your life.
This day is ideal for a 1-to-1 close-up day with John or shared with a group of friends.
Spend a day with John Bailey fishing on amazing private water to which he has exclusive access.
For this very special day John has unique access to 27 miles of private water on the River Avon in Hampshire.
The waters teem with a huge variety of fish; nearly every coarse fish you can imagine including chub, barbel & bream.
The game fish also get a look in; this part of the Avon, & the tributaries that make up the Estate, is famous for a big run of salmon & sea trout, not to mention the many wild brown trout.
Of all the places John fishes, this is his very favourite & you are in for the treat of lifetime.
